How to Use the Shirt Stretcher: Premium Torso Stretch & Weights
1. Position the Shirt
Lay your shirt flat on a smooth surface, ensuring that the torso section is ready for stretching.
2. Attach the Hanger
Place the hanger inside the shirt. If the collar is too small, you can insert the hanger from the bottom of the shirt to avoid overstretching the collar.
3. Tightening the Rod Clamps
Take the top clamp of the Black Walnut-Finished 2-Foot Rods, which can be distinguished by the long cord in the center of the rod. This cord should face the back of the shirt when placed in the clamp.
- It's easier to place the shirt halfway into the clamp first.
- Tighten the clamps slightly using the cords, move the clamp slowly into position while still slightly tightened.
- Once the clamp is in position, fully tighten it to secure the shirt.
Tightening the Tabs
- Simply pull the loop while holding the tab in place to tighten it.
- This mechanism allows for easy adjustment without needing to press any buttons while pulling.
Loosening the Tabs
- To release or adjust the stretch, press the button on the tab and gently pull.
- This releases the tension, allowing for quick and simple adjustments.
4. Attaching the Bottom Rod Clamp
Attach the bottom piece of the Black Walnut-Finished 2-Foot Rods, which is distinguishable by the hooks. These hooks should be on the front of the shirt when attached.
- To make it easier, start from the middle of the shirt.
- Tighten the clamp slightly, then slide it into place.
- Once in position, tighten it all the way to secure the shirt.
5. Securing the Cable for Collar Protection
Take the cable on the backside of the shirt from the top of the Black Walnut-Finished 2-Foot Rods and loop it around the hook of the hanger.
- Tighten the tab as needed to reduce the length of the cable between the hook of the hanger and the top rod.
- This process reduces stress on the collar during stretching, helping to protect the shirt's collar region.
6. Hang the Shirt Stretcher
Once all adjustments are made, simply hang the Shirt Stretcher just like you would hang a regular hanger.
7. Add the Weighted Bags
Attach the weighted bags that came with the Shirt Stretcher to the hooks as needed.
- You can use all three bags or just one, depending on your specific needs and the shirt's requirements.
